Ok, does this guy ship out the cover, and I could have someone local install? That is a steal!
No it's just a little mexican interior shop. He cuts and sews them up there. Does good work...have used him for stuff like this and headliners for years.
That said, since this is such a common issue on these...and all tall vehicles, there should be a solid market most places for these type of repairs. I'd call around to upholstry shops in your area. I know the guy I use does a ton of this type work for the local used car dealers.

Looks great man! I would have just bought a new hood lol
I considered having it stripped and painted but did not want to spend the money if I didn't have too. It was a PAIN but happily I didn't scratch the paint. It was just a lot of work.
