2001 Tahoe Tail lights

Hey I am looking at getting my tail lights tinted, if I gert LED I would get it eventually but go with Recon, for now I want my stock ones tinted and I have seen them done a few times and I cant imagine people are buying tint and actually tinting them... Are they? If you guys know a company that sells the stcok looking tail lights but tinted let me know please! I cant find them anywhere, also a good place with good prices for HID high/low beams, fog lights, reverse(no blue in the light), and license plate.... THANKS!

they dont actually tint them like you would a window but instead they use vht niteshade
spray tint. thats the cheapest way or you can use tinted clear thats if you have a comp. and a spray gun i got some tinted if you want them 35 dollars shipped to you let me know

if u go the diy route you can use the vht night shades or u can have a painter paint them with thinned out black paint and clear. they come out lookin black n glossy but still shine through good. its best though if u have a spare set of tails though so u dont have to worry about down time or rush them.
as far as hids ive got them off ebay in the past

Ok, can i see some pics? I cant have them TOOO dark. Cali is soooo strict its rediculous... Thanks I will deffidently think about it

I got My HIDs from www.ddmtunning.com, taillights I took mine to a shop here local and had them real mildly done!
