2002 Chevy Tahoe with a 5.7?

Hey everyone! So long story short, I have a 97 Chevy K2500 with the 5.7. A dude on let go is selling a 5.7 that he said was out of a 2002 Tahoe. I didn’t know they put them in there. I thought they were the 5.3’s. Either way, if it is a 5.7 out of a 02 Tahoe, would the motor drop right into my truck? Without modifying the harness or anything? Thanks!!!

they didn't. He's either wrong and it's an LS or he's wrong about the year and it's the right motor that would be an easy drop in.
