2002 GMC Yukon 4WD brake light problem

On my 2002 GMC Yukon 4wd, 5.3 flex fuel the brake light on the dash stays on not all the time, i replaced both pads and rotors in the front and the rear a month ago and a sensor on the LF hub too that was junk. Occassionally the brake light on the dash comes on and stays on until the next key cycle and then goes off, the brake fluid is fine, the parking brake is completely up and not engaged i dont know what else could be causing this. Any suggestions?

Interesting...

I just did front pads, rotors, and the left sensor on my 04 this weekend as well. I also have the brake light on, my light stays on constant, along with the service brakes message on the DIC.

2ATA- Its weird too that you did the same and your having the brake light issue on the dash as well, what the hell could be causing this who knows! I am wondering if anyone here ever had this issue and can help us out... Thanks!

I can't help you guys as much as I'd like to but have patience, I'm sure someone here knows what's going on. Or maybe you can call a dealership and tell them your situation. They might be able to help or give you some possible scenarios, idk.
