2002 LT, clicking noise rear wheel

Hey all. Noticed another new noise on my recent purchase and thought I'd ask about it. I'm hearing a clicking, or ticking on the rear wheel sounds like drivers side on and off, especially after turning. Any ideas? Almost positive it's coming from the rear. Also, have a nail in one tire and a slit in another...any recommendations on tires?

as far as clicking noise, it could be a pebble in the treads, a nail, or the dust shield on the rotor is corroded and scraping against the back of rotor.

Good idea, I do remember seeing the dust shield on that side being corroded. I'll have to check it, thanks.
