15 Yukon torn air shock boots no warning lights. No compressor coming on..

Hello all. NEW OWNER OF 2015 YUkon xl SLT.

Notice bumpy ride.. didn't know truck has air shocks in rear.. looked back there and they are torn. I have yet to here the compressor come on. NO WARNING LIGHTS AT ALL..
Got 2 new shocks off Amazon, cheap, just to see if I like this style ride or go for the swap regular shocks.

1 how to test if compressor works?
2 why is there no warning lights?
....2 owners of this truck owner 1 had until 25k.. owner 2 had until 230k..
Us there a way to remove warning light ?
What fuse or relay should I check? Should I just install new ones and see what happens?

First thing you should do is look in the glove box at your RPO sticker and see if the Z55, F95 or ZW7 codes.
Z55 is for the AutoRide suspension, F95 is for the Magnet Ride suspension and ZW7 is for the Premium Smooth Ride suspension.
Only those Z55 and F95 have compressors bolted to the frame near the driver side rear tire.
Z55 and F95 rear shocks also have an air line and an electrical connector running to each shock.
Premium Smooth Ride rear shocks are Nivomat shocks that manually 'auto' adjust.

Is it F95 or Z95 for the Magneride system? I thought it was Z95.

You are already receiving clarifying questions from the knowledgeable folks on this Forum.

Once you identify your air/shock system type based on your RPO code, we can assist you in replacement options. When the shock air bladders fail, the compressor tends to burn itself out trying to inflate them, so your compressor is most likely toast.

I've had both passive and active (Z55) systems on my truck, and I greatly prefer the active system. But, there are other folks here on this Forum who prefer a passive shock system, so it is a matter of personal choice.

You can purchase OEM shocks from other vendors, like RockAuto.com or GMPartsDirect.com for around $350 each, and they are now warranted for life.
