2002 Suburban door trim- where can I find this?

I’ve had this since new- still love it and now it has a new 8.1 so I am keeping it. I cannot find a source for the chrome trim in the lower exterior door. I just need the chrome or whatever it is. Any suggestions? TIA, SeaVee

You can only buy the whole trim piece as far as I know. Then have it painted to match.

Not sure if stuck on with 3M tape or has clips... But if it was stuck on with 3M tape, I would be tempted to pull them all off and buff the area behind it. Might be easier and would give a clean look.

I think it might be 3M... A PO de-badged mine and looks to have also removed the door rub strips too.
You can see what it looks like without in my profile pic.

Just a thought.

I’ve trim pieces available on several websites. Not inexpensive, though. Don’t know if okay to mention specific sites. If it is, I will edit the post

If you just want the chrome strip, you might look into the limo aftermarket. They will often have things like this.
