Some confusion .. On my brothers suburban it only has 1 line going to the back brakes .
My 2006 yukon xl has 2 lines going to rear brakes . why could this be ? The 2002 has ABS and 2006 has ABS and traction control.
Did someone just plumb it different or is that the way they did it ?

Models with stabilitrak have one additional rear brake line. Look up stainless brake kits. 5 lines or 6 with stabilitrak. I can’t tell you the nitty gritty, but I’m sure you’ll be informed soon.

As I understand correctly the stability track system much like many other traction control type systems modulate braking to control wheel spin. Therefore you cannot really modulate breaking to each rear wheel if you only have one line and a splitter like my 2002 without stabilatrack..
