Everything was fine, truck always starting strong etc. Wake up this morning as normal go to start truck, listen for fuel pump (habit now, you know). Sounds as normal for a crank or two and then nothing. Let off key, pump primes again, try to start and it just keeps cranking.

I used amprobe to measure plug wires and it would appear coils are receiving voltage.

All fuses test good. Did not test relays.

Did not test fuel pressure. Will have to wait till tomorrow to get a gauge.

I grabbed a fuel filter for fun. Seeing as I did not have a gauge, I was going to eyeball the flow before and after filter.

3/16th fuel in tank.

What is going on? :wtf:

:boti:

3/16ths is 1/16th more than 1/8th and 1/16th less than 1/4.

It was sitting at 1/8th tank and I put a little gas in to move the gauge slightly to check it.

Got gauge, going to test pressure at fuel rail.

Need to eat yummy Turkey left overs first.

I'm not observing any security lights unless door is open key is out.

When the key is in and turned to on position I just see solid battery light.

It would appear, I have zero fuel pressure at the rail.

Where to go from here?

I can hear pump priming still.

Do you have fuel @ the rail? I'd throw some gas in there & see what happens.

Pull a plug...it is wet with fuel?

If I can hear it running it must be... Running.

I will pull fuel lines apart tomorrow and see.

Unfortunately running doesn't mean enough pressure. Check fuel pressure, check for wet plugs, make sure FPR isn't leaking...

I have zero fuel pressure. I'm going to test the pressure gauge on another vehicle.

Before or after that I'm going to take supply line apart at filter and see what the flow is like there.

Fuel pressure regulator is something I will look at.

Possibly remove it and check the screen for obstructions.
