Hey guys. I just wanted to start a thread on my build progress on my Tahoe because I feel like you can never have too many build threads.
Some info on truck
2002 Chevrolet Tahoe ls 2wd

I just ordered my first "stage" of components to lift it.

Moog 81069 z71 springs
eBay lift keys that a few people referred me to through personal use
Front and rear shock extenders " for now"

As I'm installing the parts I will post measurements before and after along with pictures before and after. Should be a fun build. If y'all have any questions or concerns, feel free to post. Thinking about shaving all the moldings also. Haven't decided yet.
Picture as is sits now. Stock tires are 245/75-16

Front driver : 34 1/2"
Front passenger : 34 1/2"
Rear driver : 35"
Rear passenger : 35 1/4"

All the parts are installed. Wasn't bad at all. Definitely need some tires now. The z71 coils gave me almost exactly 2" lift.

After measurements

Front driver: 37"
Front passenger: 37 1/4"
Rear driver: 37 1/4"
Rear passenger 37 1/2"

Not bad considering I only spent $100 so far. Here are a few pics to compare stock parts to new parts.

I have a buddy that will sell me his 17's oem gmc wheels for 100 bucks. Figure if I can get a could of 1" inch spacers I can use the new rims with lift spindles to get higher . What do y'all think?

If you're just going a little, you could probably just crank your bars a bit. At that wheel size, you could also do Gmt900 front brake upgrade.

Edit: forgot you did keys already...

Right now I have 3" lift keys (maxed out on driver side and half way on passenger) with z71 springs. Was interested in doing the 3" spindles and 3 inch spacers in the rear to get it up a little more. Kinda wanted to get some opinions on those rims vs what I have. I went over all the measurements and with 1-1.5 inch spacers on the front wheels and 2" spacers on the rear with some 33's or a little bigger should sit very nice.

You're talking lift spacers, not wheel spacers, right?

3" spring spacers for the back springs. And I would need wheel spacers if I do the lift spindles to clear the 4.5" back spacing they recommend. And then I would put some on the back just to even the track width with the front
