2002 Yukon Idle?

Just wondering what the idle should be. My idle is at 500Rpms and it sometimes feels like it wants to die and dips to 400 rpms. Is that normal?

500 sounds about right, supposed to be in that ballpark of 500-600

Get a tune, sounds like its time for you to sign up for a black bear tune.

You also should think about cleaning out your throttle body, if your idle speed is dipping all around and wanting to die sometimes that should solve that problem, they really get pretty dirty!! Get some Seafoam "Deep Creep" to hose out the inside of your throttle body!
