2003 4.8L Tahoe performance?

I am way late to the party on this one but what did that do to your highway mpg? I do 80% of my driving on the interstate. 4.11's would kill me. I think I've got 3.42's right now IIRC (checked the rear end a while back- I don't think it was a 3.08).

I put a mildly built small block 355 small block (350 hp) in my S-10 way back in the day. It had 4.55's from the factory (was a 4 cyl truck). That thing was a 5.0 mustang slayer but couldn't do 100 mph on the big road before redlining.
