Hello / I have a question regarding the HVAC buttons on my 2003 Suburban that light up at night. I discovered the other night that the far-left button (Off) no longer lights up at night. What does it take to gain access to the actual bulb. I'm wondering if it's pretty straight-forward and easy to access and replace the bulb or not worth the effort.

Thank youSuburban HVAC 01.jpg Suburban HVAC 02.jpg

Have to tear apart and resolder new lights on the mother board. Not easy but doable if you have the skill .

Thread resurrection. Same AUTO HVAC head and my snowflake bulb is out; I'd like to tear into this to replace it using an incandescent bulb. Anyone (@Sam Harris @05Single?) know what size and voltage (12v?) bulbs they take? Link?

Here is a Youtube video I found that should help. I'm also linking to the bulbs you need to buy if you want non-LED replacements.

Funny, I just looked at that video. I did buy bulbs from them for my 4x4 and (I think) headlight switch a few years back. Thanks!

EDIT: not the headlight switch but the fog light and wiper switch.
