Had to replace the rear pads and rotors, and while I was in there I found the parking brakes were gone - no meat on them at all. Unfortunately, the screw for the bracket holding the shoe in place was so rusted it just snapped. The only way I can see to fix the glitch is to remove the axle. Before I go and do that, I was hoping someone here may have run into the same issue.

Any thoughts before I dig in?

Thanks!
