2003 yukon power steering pump replacement

I forgot to replace the power steering pump when rebuilding my motor/install. I am looking to replace it from Advance Auto. I saw 3 reviews for the reman cardone brand and does not seem reliable.

Has anyone ever rebuilt their own pump?
What new Brand pump would you recommend? Advance has limited lifetime on most of their pumps.

Also saw the flush/bleed process by Lares rebuilding service.

A1 Cardone has been around for a very long time. Like any other rebuilder I am sure a bad part gets out but its not the norm. I suspect most failures are because people dont flush system fluids and run crap through a new part which causes it to fail. I use rockauto and have a rebuilt unit on my Yukon and its fine, been on there for over 6 months now.
