My 2003 Yukon has had this rear wind deflector on since it rolled off the lot.

Now, the adhesive has worn off, and the mounting hardware is completely rusted out. My intent was to take everything off, clean it, get new screws, and clean up the mounting bracket. I got it all off, but while trying to take the brackets off the back glass, a screw got completely stripped inside the mount. I'm gonna need new hardware now, but can't find a part number or anything for this particular model. All it says on the actual piece is "GM Accessories" (which I've looked up on their website with no luck). Anyone got any info on this? Thanks

never seen that on a Kon before.

maybe that's why I'm having such a hard time finding any info on it... apparently it was installed at the dealership when it was bought, and supposedly creates a strong downdraft behind the truck to keep dirt, rain, etc from sticking to the rear glass. I really like the look of it, and the functionality, so I'd really like to find some new hardware for it so I can reinstall

Here's a better picture of it. The detail at the bottom says "GM Accessories", so I might just end up calling a dealership and see if they can help me out.

Well, I ended up just taking a Dremmel with a wire brush attachment to all the metal pieces. It actually cleaned up better than I expected. Then a few coats of black Rustoleum. Then after going zero for three on the fasteners that I needed at Lowe's, I jumped on McMaster-Carr.com, and got exactly what I needed. So hopefully, once the fasteners get here and the paint is dry, it'll be a better-than-new installation with painted metal brackets and all stainless screws.

Thanks for all the help tho, ajaxnxs, but I think buying new hardware was going to be too hard and expensive, even if I was able to find a part number. I'll post back with the results in a few days hopefully.
