Hey, it's been a year, and you still haven't posted the pics you promised of your fix!

Ha ha... just found this on a search for "real life" images of this rear spoiler, other than the GM marketing images.

I wish they designed the part to not look as "tacked on" as it does up close. I've been trying to see a picture of from a distance, and still haven't found one. My search continues...

Haha, nice. My thread is back from the grave. Anyways, yeah, I have since found out some more about it. Here's the link to the part Will is talking about:

I have actually since taken it off, trying to clean up the look of the truck. If you do end up getting one, please take the time to coat it with Rustoleum or something, and use stainless hardware. The rust stain is still on my liftgate, and I hate it.

Ordered it from the local dealership and got it yesterday. Excited to put it on, but it is ball freezing cold here again so I might wait until the 2 weeks of summer we get. Thinking about what you said about painting the parts and using stainless hardware. What about Plasti-dipping them?

Hey seven9stsurfer,

Since you had the GM Accessories rear spoiler on for a long time, and now since you've had the rear spoiler OFF for a long time, have you noticed a difference in the cleanliness of your rear window with the unit off?
