2003 Yukon XL heated seats

I have a 2003 Yukon XL. This morning I turned on the heated seats and light comes on for a second and then goes out. Both seats do this. Any ideas on what to check? I wouldn't think that the heating elements shorted in both seats on the same day.

What about the back seats?

The back seats are not heated. I checked the fuse and it is fine. They worked for a bout a minute yesterday and then would just shut off imediately after pushing the button.

either the heating element or switch under seat has gone bad; if one element goes it affects the whole system...just went through this about 6 months ago...replaced all elements and switch under drivers seat was bad
