So that's why the DRL's don't work...

and the turn signals are white...

I didn't check the other side but I'm assuming they're the same.

I got the the DRL's to work. I swapped the old bulbs with the bulbs from the tail lights since I'm not using them. They plugged right in.

Today I smoked the 3rd brake light, replaced a door stop, and cleaned the interior a little.

Painting the brake light:

I like the way it came out. This will keep me satisfied while I wait to get the Esky glass and brake light.

The new (from a junkyard) parts I got: door stop and rear cubby lid.

It finally works now!

I replaced the front passenger door stop. It was popping, no more! This was my first time taking off the door panel. A little tricky I must say...

I guess I wasn't supposed to take the window switches off, oops.

Then I decided to clean the interior a bit. I focused mainly on the center console. After so many years junk just builds up everywhere it can.

"Gutted the Yukon," almost....

I foamed everything up and then rinsed it off.

They came out great! So happy that I was able to clean them that well. You can't tell due to no before shots. But believe me, there's no more junk built up on the screws or the edges.

Finally got these done! It's a nice touch. This is the first time I've painted something like this, so it didn't come out perfect. But I'm glad with how it came out.

Looking good. I will be pulling moldings soon as well. Except I am taking the easy way out. One of my body shop customer offered to do it for free as long as I still refer them. Plus I have a grille and fender flares they are going to color match.

Thanks. And you struck a good deal, de-molding was a real *****.

Yeah wasn't looking forward to it. Called the owner to see which eraser wheel he recommended, and he said save your money and bring to him. Can't pass that offer up.
