2004 4.8 liter upgrade to LQ9 6.0 Liter Questions

Will it run with the stock ECM once i get the LQ9 installed, hopefully just a reduction in power until i get BB to do a tune on the 6.0 ECM. My thought is, this is my daily driver, can i drive it to get around town until i get the new ECM tuned.

I know the motor will start, as we started mine on the 5.3 pcm, but I didnt rev it or even put it in Drive, so I am not sure.

it'll run fine with the 5.3 or 4.8 computer, just tune for changes later, but doesn't need to be done before driving.
