Look again, the 13 pin round connector has to be there or the plug got cut off. Here’s the wiring diagram and pin out diagram for my 02, it should be the same. View attachment 348372View attachment 348373

That's the diagram I was looking at, idk where it could be. Where does it come down from? The engine bay? Does it come through the a grommet in the floorboard?

It comes down the driver side frail rail and then to the TC and then over the top of the TC or trans to the pass side of the trans on mine. Not sure if it’s in the same harness as the neutral safety switch or separate. Pretty sure it just goes straight to the PCM so there should be no need to go through the floorboard but I’m not sure. I do know it’s in the same harness as the TC, it extends from the TC on to the trans.

TC you mean transfer case? Or Twerk Converter? Or Trans cross member?
I'll have to crawl back under there next weekend and look. Its gonna be a Tacoma driving week anyway I have a lot of crap to haul around.

What @Rocket Man said. And @randeez is also correct on your other question. That plugs into the electronics where your shifter linkage goes. The other plug may be rear O2?
Oh yeah, it does look like an O2 plug totally useless.
sometimes dealing with trannys....they'll tuck it up and behind, so there isnt a visible hangdown
See I much prefer to know what I'm playing with and have it all hang out.
Probably duct taped into the crack.:emotions33:
Is that the method you use? ;)
