I have silicon hoses bruh………..

That looks good too!

Dark season is coming
I’ve had those hoses on my list for a long time but recently decided no. I’m running all new OEM stuff with braided covers over almost all of it. I think it looks better and goes with all the other braided lines I have. If somebody sold just an upper and lower radiator pair that wasn’t $200 I’d buy them since I can’t make braided sleeves look right on them but the only ones I can find is Mishimoto. If I was driving a Honda or Subie I could get a set for $50-$75 but for an LS no bueno.

Yeah they were a pretty penny from mishimoto but I bought a radiator from that at the time so they were half off or something like that. The black I got looks good and shiny so it kinda looks like cleaned up rubber oems. Can’t really go wrong with OEM for the price and fact that they will likely last 20 years. I’m 99% sure the radiator and hoses that were in the Tahoe when I replaced them were OG and 17Y/O.

I might actually have kept the radiator hoses in my stash incase something else needs a temp fix.

Well he’s be right

Been doing a bunch of little stuff to the ranger, check out the nastiness from this fuel filter! Also check out the gauge cluster that everything works on, all vitals are good, and no warning lights! Yes the warning lights work because they flash on during initial key cycle.

i think i got subaru fixed.
it kept popping up all the lights, scan tool was showing rear speed sensor. intermittent it would cut out for a bit, then come back and work fine. was getting pretty regular happening a few times a day. got home today and tore the axle/spindle all apart. took the speed sensor out it was was all chewed up. pulled the axle out and there is a little shield on the axle where it goes into the spindle, and it was bent in a couple places and was pushing the sensor into the wheel bearing. straightened out the shield threw it all back together with the junk sensor. quick drive (lights were on when i parked so back on when started) after a couple minutes lights went back out. its too sporadic to call it fixed so ill see after driver a couple days

That thing sure has had a lot of problems in the short time you’ve owned it. Must not be driving it right.

I too, have noticed that.

A) I've put like 23k, rough, miles on it since I bought it.
B) this speed sensor shit is possibly my fault from when I swapped wheel bearings, which if I didn't have to swap wheel bearings i couldn't have messed it up
