2004 Denali tire question- oversized?

I have a 2004 AWD Yukon Denali that orignally came with 265/70 17 tires. I just put 285/70 17 tires on it and now the speedometer is not working. Is this something that can be fixed?

Well it was readin at just about 3mph off but now it isnt working at all, about one or two days
