my aunt owns a 2004 Cevy Suburban and it wont start. she tried to jump off the battery but still nothing. she said it does nothing when you try to start it. Could it be the starter or somethig else?

Could be dozens of things. But sadly, no one here can diagnose it without being there in person. Most common things would be the battery, one or both of the battery cables, or the starter.
Check the cables to see if they are loose or corroded. Not only where they connect to the battery, but where power cable connects to the starter and where the ground connect to the engine. If all that checks out and the battery is verified as good and fully charged, then check the starter.

I own a 04 sub and I've noticed one really big issue for me is the side posts them selves for what ever reason the way mine is wired at least the wires will pull the bolts loose from the vibration of the running engine it takes some time like a span of 1 year or more but it happened to me a few times tell I finally bought new posts that had just a slight offset thread so they were hard to turn all the way in but they don't come loose any more something to think about sense it's a fix that only costs a few bucks

pull her battery out have it tested many places will test it for free (sears/autozone, etc), if it test's good charge it up and before you put it back in clean the battery terminals with a wire brush (there literally like a dollar at most hardware stores)
if it still wont start then take a look at all your fuses and be sure they are all good, if no blown fuses then you may have to dig deeper and check starter manually. does it do anything when you try to start it? is it dead no response at all? does it crank but still not start completely?

also if it turns out that the battery was simply dead you might want to have the alternator tested to be sure it is charging.
