Hello,

I had an overhead DVD player installed but have recently removed it. I was given the original rear overhead console when it was installed. However, I cannot figure out how to reinstall the rear overhead console. It seems as if I'm missing a bracket, clips, etc.

The clips on the console don't line up with anything and the two screw holes don't line up with any existing holes in the body or the headliner.

I've searched the internet and cannot find a photo/description of how it was mounted. Please take a look at the photos and help me if you can.

Bchoover, I removed my broken dvd player as well since it's my work truck and won't be putting my kid in the hoe to watch movies, now i have a huge hole in my ceiling and would like to replace it with a dome light if that's possible

When i removed it, there was a flat metal mounting plate which the dvd player was mounted to, sounds like you may need that piece to install your rear overhead console... would you or anyone else on here happen to have the part number to your overhead console by any chance? i have been searching ebay and other places for hours and can't seem to find an overhead console with a dome light to cover the hole.
