Trying to put a new stereo in my dads Tahoe. Spliced all the wires, bought the antenna adapter, and when it's all installed I get the no audio through the speakers I've read so much about. I read something about a pink wire to switch the amp on. I don't know I can't figure it out. Here's a picture of my wiring harness. If you can help me out please do.

The harness in the picture plugs into the main harness in your dash, you should have a second smaller harness coming out of your dash. Locate the pink wire, splice it to your blue remote wire and you will have sound. I had the same problem with my old 00 tahoe.

Had the same problem when I put a Pioneer nav unit into my 2006 Denali XL. The audio place I took it to told me,i needed to have a special module that wires into the stereo to retain the audio because of the way the onstar is wired in. Not sure what it's called but he told me it has to be wired in otherwise you with get any soind period. He had it in hand and I think it was like $70.

Try disconnecting the blue/white wire you are pointng at since you arent using an external amp. Also just in case, make sure the pioneer doesnt have a setting for internal amp vs external amp.

As far as the rest everything looks ok that i can see clear

Sorry for the no reply. Been at school. So what I need to do is take the pink wire coming out of the dash harness and connect that to the Blue/White Wire that comes out of the stereo harness. What do I do with the Blue/white wire coming out of the dash?
