i recently dropped my oil pan as part of a dod delete, and i'm in the process of reinstalling the parts i had to remove to get it out, which includes the front crossmember. i am following the service manual and see that the 4 bolts that secure this crossmember are supposed to be installed at 52 ft-lbs first pass and 110 degrees second pass. this typically indicates the bolt in question is a TTY bolt and needs to be replaced rather than reinstalled. am i right to assume these bolts need to be replaced?
in addition to not being clear if i need to replace the bolts, i also seem to be unable to find a part number for the replacement bolts and nuts. i can easily find the front crossmember part on gmpartsdirect, but not the corresponding bolts. i found a prior post on here about a similar issue that appeared to be left unresolved.
the hex bolts have an integrated washer, require 18 mm socket, 135 mm length shaft, have "SFT 10.9" on the head, roughly 12 mm diameter on threads, and only bottom 45 mm are threaded.
thanks for reading
