Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster here. I have a 2004 Denali and I noticed recently that the door chime stopped working. I didn't really mind that the annoying chime was gone but the OCD part of me had to figure out why. I quickly learned that it was due to my front driver side speaker not working. Now that I do mind.

Few questions: before I just replace it, what should I check? Is there some sort of Bose module for the speaker that can be tested? Can I test the speaker itself?

Lastly, any good resources (pictures) of how to get to the speaker? I've never pulled the door panel.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Help, please...?

Your best bet would be to just buy new speakers and replace the fronts. But if you really want to check if the left speaker is broken then use the right speaker to test before you buy so you know its not the wiring.

Removing the door is easy, i dont knowhow much different it is in a yukon, but for mine it was two 10mm bolts or 7mm and to remove you just lift up.
