Im having my whole driver side seat redone. Guy quoted me 550.00. Is that expensive or should I continue shopping around

Sounds about right to have someone else do it. You might be able to save a few $$ hunting around on eBay. Here's a start for your search.

You can find the seat bottom on eBay here for $195

I used these guys for a new arm rest cover and was very happy with the cover. Driver seat is getting a little worn and will order the replacement from them.
