2005 Tahoe Front End Swap

I do not like the look of my 05 Tahoe z71 Front End. I love the look of the Yukons though. The only reason I do not trade my Tahoe for Yukon is that I have a brand new motor and transmission in my Tahoe. What would a front end swap entail if I wanted to do it? If I do matching years is it easier? I have looked into the Range Rover Conversions and Escalade Conversions, but do not really like them. I would like to have different headlights(i prefer one piece like the newer models, but will do the 2 piece Yukon look) and a one piece grille. If there is anything else out there please let me know. Thanks.

*Edit: If I do have to change the hood, fenders, bumper, lights, etc. for yukon to tahoe, will they just bolt right up or will mods be required? i just want to know if I am getting in over my head. Im a noob, sry.

I'm pretty sure you'll have to swap the whole front end including fenders, but they'll all bolt up the same as long as you get 00-06 parts.

fenders, hood, front braces, headlights, grille, headlight surrounds (that the bolt to)

Best deal would be to get a wrecked (in the rear) yukon to swap over. Don't forget you're probably gonna paint everything as well...

Probally need the header panel, all lights, grill, bumpers,hood and fenders should do it.

Nathan hit it. Don't forget you'll need the bumper too, all needing paint, and blending the doors so they'll need to be detrimmed too. Everything will bolt right up. If your stuff isn't damaged, talk to a couple junk yards. If it's in good shape- they may consider swapping you out for minimal cost. One thing that would drive me nuts - a Chevrolet emblem on the airbag... $$ to swap for just that. Oh, and your keys.

Did you ever consider doing this? I would be interested in your Z71 bumper parts.
