2005 absolutely base Suburban (not even an LS), 356k on the odometer.
Various circuits were starting to go in the driver door harness. Purchased one from a dealer online and had my mechanic put it in. Now every time I unlock and open the driver door the alarm goes off. Mechanic is just shrugging his shoulders.
The stock alarm isn't very sexy or electronic, as far as I know. But can anyone point me to something that discusses exactly how the alarm on this faithful beast works?
