2005 Tahoe Z71 Headlight HID Questions

New to the forum. Just bought my 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 about 6 months ago and I love it! But im about to order HID headlights and have some questions... In my headlight housings there are two bulbs. One is high and low beam correct? that is the outer bulb from what I understand? What is the inner bulb on the housing? or are the high and the low beam separated into two bulbs..?

Any help would be greatly appreciated without being trolled on for my lack of knowledge...

Welcome! The inside bulbs closest to the grille is the high beams and the others are the low beam.

Definitely stay away from hid's, especially in stock headlight housings.

With modified projector cutoff plate hids are awesome but unreliable
