A couple of weeks ago I noticed the AC not being quite as cold as it should be. I checked the pressures and the high and low side were running about 60/50, with ambient at 100F. I took it to a family owned shop and told them I thought the compressor might be bad. After a check they agreed and replaced compressor, drier, and expansion valve. I get it back and it is realy no different. So I compare it to my wifes 2006 yukon and hers is running high/low of 225/45 with 100F ambient temp. I check the temp of the air at idle and hers is 50F with fan on high and mine at 62. I took it back in and they flushed the system again and cleaned or replaced the expansion/orafice. It is a little cooler but when I checked the pressures the high and low are both running at 50/50. This just does not seem right.

Any suggestions on why the high side is running so low?

Thanks,

Earl
