What about putting a sealed LED strip beneath the running boards to fill in the shadow they cast?

Hmmmm...... neat idea..... Maybe 24" of 12 v rope light.

( rope lighting has a cut line every 24") Or a sealed led strip.....

Different car but same concept can do with a flush mount led or if you want the logo can do the same. I drilled a hole in the bottom and ran the wires to ones that came on with the interior.

What I used is called anything from puddle lamp, door projector, ghost shadow, or any combination of the three on ebay.

This is what it looks like before install, even comes with the proper whole saw. There are tons of different color variations that you can get if you wanted the Chevrolet logo or any other logo.



Or you could do something like this (which I used for puddle lamps in my non tow mirrors for my silverado)

It's a flush mount eagle eye.

Well, when you open the door, the interior lights turn on, and stay on as long as the door is open.
Including that silly white/red lens light on the inside lower door panel.

I want to put an LED strip at the underneath - door panel, aiming light below the door while it's open.
And the light stays on as long as the door is open ( Really illuminating the step & ground) ... not like the puddle light that goes off in 15 seconds, and only when you hit 'unlock'.

I'll jump power from that white/red lens, only inches from the new light strip.

yea.... that is cool..... I saw somewhere about the logo - lights. They can custom a logo too.

( Some automaker uses the logo light ( Lincoln?)

I found it's not that easy to "find that thread".... Unless you know the exact key words.
