Sounds like you have spent every waking moment for a year or so (weekends/week nights) working on this thing? I will shoulder the Eskie responsibility if you can sell for 6k and will deliver to Middle TN? Plus when some of that modified stuff breaks (stuff will break on this 12 yr old high mileage vehicle) I will need seller backup info/help from you via email communication etc. How is your health? I want to make sure that you are around for a few years to provide support Hahahaha
Note: Edmunds site says $5,460.00 Clean Private Sell https://www.edmunds.com/cadillac/escalade-esv/2006/st-100545001/appraisal-value/tmv/

Lol tempting, but no. I’ve had so many internet trolls offer me “$5k” or “$6000 cash today” sight unseen and I just roll my eyes, lol

On a vehicle that has had this many wrenches turned on it (no matter who does the wrenching and how careful they are) it will never be back to a factory unmolested state. If you enjoyed working on it and customizing it that is great but about all you get is satisfaction and very little monetary gain. That is just the way the used car market is. I keep a new Truck so that I only have to do car repairs IF and when I am in the mood and feel like messing with something I do enjoy it but with limits. I am sure you can find someone around there locally that will appreciate your efforts and be a happy buyer hopefully closer to your asking price. I was just offering an option for you, I hope you did not get offended. It is just a vehicle LOL Good Luck on your sale.

And here I thought you were simply joking. Now that I know you are serious, your offer is laughable and your remarks, quite frankly, are insulting. Very few people take as much pride in the ownership and care of their vehicles as the the guys/gals on this forum. This vehicle has a KBB private sale value of $9600 and an NADA value of $10500. I don’t know what you input into Edmunds to get the price you did, but that is trade-in value range, not private party sale. If I wanted only trade-in value for it I would have just traded it into dealer I got my wife’s new car from to avoid the headaches of trying to sell it privately. But I know that this vehicle is a diamond in the rough and worth a lot more than $5k and I’m not interested in settling for that. Thanks.

Woops. I am always looking around for clean used vehicles for a good price and I pay cash on the barrelhead no messing around (at the right price). I have now gone back and looked at your build thread and see the error of my ways. To me this is just another depreciating liabilty but to you it seems to be like a child that you have nurtured/raised/trained/taken to ballgames and Taekwondo lessons etc. it has developed a personalitiy of its own and the value is actually Priceless. My apologies for not being sensitive to your emotional attachment. I actually almost shed a tear there........:Good or Bad:

ALL vehicles are a “depreciating liability” bud and that shiny new Denali you posted a picture of is still losing thousands of dollars a year in value whereas my Escalade may lose a couple hundred. I can appreciate a cash buyer, but not one that expects me to accept a lowball offer, sight unseen AND deliver a vehicle from NH to TN on MY dime. What makes you think anyone would take you up on an offer like that? If you bought a vehicle from a dealership on eBay or bought a new truck from a place like Laura they’d laugh at you if you tried to tell them they had to pay to deliver it to you.

The only way I’d even remotely consider delivering the vehicle anywhere on my dime would be if the seller paid me fair market value for the truck and the sale transaction was completed prior to delivery. I’m not willing to drive a vehicle anywhere without cash in hand and the title transfer already complete.

No Problem, thanks for the detailed explanation and good luck on your sale.
Note: If buying new, Laura is the place for a GMC product I have used them twice. I did have to fly in to pick up the vehicles but they have a shuttle from the airport. Very efficient and very cost effective.
