First, as a newbie to this forum, thanks for answering my question...

I have an '06 Denali and the dash cigarette lighter has stopped working. A check of both the dash fuse as well as the underhood fuse indicates that they both are good. Is there another fuse or link hidden somewhere?

Thanks in advance....

There's an actual cigarette lighter fuse. You sure you checked the correct one? I had the same thing happen

I believe that there are fuses for both the cig lighter and the other 12v power point in the front. Check your owners manual or google 06 Denali fuse diagram and find the right one. My cig lighter blew a fuse and this is how I found out how to fix it.

There are 2 fuses...one labeled "CIG LIT" and one labeled "Aux Outlet"...I've checked both and they were good. In fact, I've checked every fuse in both the underhood fuse block and the dash fuse panel and nothing is blown......

It's got me vexed.....

Maybe check the connections behind the cigarette lighter. Make sure you got power to it. Also, make sure it's not rusted or corroded.

It probably is the fuse. I have this issue everytime I get my truck inspected. It will not pass inspection in NC with this fuse blown. Just had my truck inspected last week and once again had to replace the fuse before passing inspection. 2 years straight.

try replacing the fuse even though it looks good, you never know if its blown.

also try pulling the center peices out and seeing if the connect to the actual outlet is still good.

theres another power spot INSIDE the center console if all else fails

Replaced the fuse....no luck.

Checked the connections....no luck. None of the 3 outlets in the console (dash, center compartment, back of the center compartment) work. Interestingly, the cig plug in the cargo area works fine.
