Long story short air have some nice spare parts from 2 other builds. I have this LY6 that I wasn't sure what to do with. If I got the Lingenfelter 24 to 58 conversation box and dropped the LY6 in with a healthy cam, the 1 3/4 headers merged to the 4" exhaust I have. The Yank SS3600 stall, built 4L60E, strengthened driveshaft, and rear end swapped to 4.11 gears diff and hardened axles. Other than buying the cam and conversion box would be all I would be buying new. The LY6 is a lower compression motor I would mill the heads to get the CR up. My question is this setup too aggressive for a heavy Yukon and what style intake should I run? I've used S&B and have been happy with those. I'm just looking for guidance because my 5.3 is ticking bad and the original plan of tossing in my LS2 with worked 243s and ported Fast 102 I have would take too long I'm afraid.

What about your proposed setup do you think might be too aggressive—the torque converter stall? As long as the cam works with it to keep it in the power and it should be fine.
I think air intake tubes are mostly a matter of preference unless you get the ones with the snail shaped hair dryer spinarooski option
