2006 Yukon Denali Nav upgrade

First time post. I am going to install a 2006 Denali Nav into my truck which will accept it. Im trying to find map updates but it seems to stop at 2012?

My questions are... can I get current updated maps for my old 2006 Nav? Or... can I install a newer GM Nav unit that can get updates. Don't really want to buy a non factory Nav if I don't have to.

You can put the stock nav unit in. But the stock nav unit sucks. It’s terribly outdated. And more often then not, laser reader for the nav disc goes bad so the nav stops working. Plus there’s no Bluetooth either.
