2006 Z71 tahoe 2wd?

in some years they made Z71s available in a 2wd.....dont know the full reasoning behind it, maybe some people liked the package but just didnt want to deal with 4wd issues or wanted the z71 package but didnt want to pay more for 4wd that they wont use..not sure but they did make it in a 2wd

I guess just because its a Z-71 doesn't mean its a 4x4. That just doesn't seem right!

Thats news to me, guess it makes sense tho cause i'd be lying if i said the exterior trim package didnt have an effect on me buying mine over a non-z71 tahoe, and having 4x4 was never a question. Looks like they did more than just change the color of the "z71" logos from gold to silver in 05

Leave it up to GM to make stupid decisions. The Z71 package should always be 4x4. Thats why you have the LS and the SLE models for.
