Not sure when and how but noticed this bit of curb rash on the gloss black wheels last night. Always knew it was a risk given the profile of the tire sidewall and how the rim spokes stick out.

Any tips on how to fix? It’s not a huge scrape. Can I spot sand and paint? What paint do I need?

For reference these are GM 22” OEM gloss black wheels.

Just dabbing that with gloss black rustoleum out of a can would make it unnoticeable. If you want it to disappear then I’d recommend taking it somewhere to be refinished.
Perfect thank you. Yeah just looking for a 90% of the way there job. Like you said, just trying to make it not noticeable from 5-10 feet away. Would you bother trying to spot sand it first? Either way I’ll give the rustoleum
a shot!

i supoose sanding wouldn’t hurt. Probably even recommend.

I never did when I would touch up my wife’s wheels. We had a can and stack of throw away brushes handy lol.

Most Dealers have someone that repairs wheels, you may want to contact a few and see who they use.
