Dorman makes a ruggedized repair armrest in both the buckskin and charcoal grey colors.
Has a metal skeleton and replaces your broken armrest.
Took me about 45 minutes to remove and replace the broken one in our 2013 Tahoe.

Only bad thing is they only have these for the driver's side, although a pass side repair kit is in the works.
