I thought it was strange when I open the door and the power running boards didn't extend. Turned the key to start and it won't turn over. All systems check lights come on and go out the horn works, forward driver and passenger windows work, heater blower works,, I hear the fuel pump pressurize, the radio works. What doesn't work besides the running boards is none of the engine gauges power up in the run position, headlights, brake lights,no line under gear indicator, rear driver and passenger windows, remote keyless entry nothing. Tried the spare key and remote also nothing. Just turn 100k, is this planned obsolescence? Any ideas?

Can't remember, is there a brake transmission interlock? I can move the shift lever without depressing the brake pedal.

I have checked most but not all fuses. Battery is fully charged, drove it an hour before. Need to find the common point between all the inporative items. Don't believe it's a fuse or battery issue with that many items inop all at once.

Still working on the is problem. Does anyone have a diagnostic flowchart? Is it possible to check the computer and cam position sensor? If so how. Next call is to the rollback

I've read of many of our trucks having intermittent no start issues out of nowhere. Another member recently told me he also experienced this issue and a replacement ground cable fixed it for him. In my experience, when cam or crank position sensors fail, you'll experience a crank, but no start condition.
