Fit on truck, sure. Work as intended, hard No.
Arnott is stating they have z95 struts filled with mag fluid and all the newer internal valves to not only regulate the viscosity of the mag fluid but also vary the valves in the strut, as they should.
In order for the z95 mag strut to operate properly you also need the z95 module to control the valves and mag fluid viscosity. A z55 (Autoride) control module does not do that.
Why are Arnott & Dorman selling z95 struts that are incompatible with z55 equipped Denali and LTZ equipped Burb, Yuke & Tahoe?
* No, they don’t function as intended.
* Yes, they will bolt on.
* Yes Dorman & Arnott recommend doing it.
* No, they don’t explain the incompatibility
* Yes, some have already installed z95 on their z55 trucks
