I just can NOT wait until I have this truck where it needs to be in order to meet my **** standards.

Well, she did smog this morning with no problems and I installed new wiper blades as the ones she came with were falling apart on the wiper arm.

BUT, I NOW noticed (while driving on a beautiful day with the windows down this morning), that there is slight constant squeak, sounds like when a brake is squeaking while applied. However, this sound seems constant and happens WITHOUT the break being applied.

WHAT COULD IT BE?

Also sounds a little rough when hitting a bump, could the shocks already be toast on this thing after 63K miles?????

Thanks guys, ................. I am sure there will be MORE to come.

I think you're going to set the record for the most post/threads from the person who just got their truck...

It's probably the shocks. And yes, most oe shocks are toast at 50,000 miles.

Could be a stuck/sticking caliper. My tahoe had one that did the same. Drove me crazy. Seeing any excessive brake dust?

In this short amount of time I do not see any excessive brake dust, no. At least not to the point where I would notice it.

Thanks Neo and Serge.

At least Shocks are covered under my Service Contract, so are the Upper and Lower Control Arms, Bushings, Ball Joints, Torsion Bars and Mounts, Stabalizer Bars, Struts and Wheel Bearings, SO I THINK I SHOULD BE GOOD.

Probably just a wheel bearing. although they brake pads also have a constant noise when they are really low. had that happen to my yukon at 71K.

x2! Check your wheel bearing and your brake pads.
