Recently got a DiabloSport InTune I3 tuner for the tahoe.

Mainly for the ability to disable the AFM and get rid of the range device I previously was using.

I am unable to figure out how to properly adjust the TCM, both the: Shift Firmness and Torque Management.

I have adjusted both to the extreme in both directions and they appear to not make a bit of difference. Is anyone familiar with my setup and aspects of the intune device.

I originally only flashed the ECM with the DiabloTune and AFM off. After that it seemed to shift differently (as in harsher shifts) I was used to the buttery smooth shifts and honestly kinda liked it that way.

There may be a "relearn" period for the TCM after programming. WHat were you previously using to remove AFM

The Range AFM disabler.

Also, I didn’t program the TCM at first, just the ECM. Decided to dig into that after the unfavorable results from the ECM portion.

I have an I2 and a custom tune from Lew at Diablew.

The tuners can be funny sometimes. Make sure you watch the screen while it is doing it to be sure the TCM is being flashed. Sometimes it will skip things... I think it depends on what you choose and how/when you choose it. Read over the owners manual to be sure your flashing things the "right" way... lol

It is much better... the transmission tune he has is great.. much more responsive than stock.

I’ll look into that DiabLEW tune. Is he on these boards?

Also, the shifting seems to be back to normal after a dozen driving cycles.
