Very true. I could also tell quite a difference when I took out the factory nav headunit and installed a pioneer nav. I am now happy enough with the factory bose speakers to not change them out.What are you listening too exactly (XM, FM/AM, CD, Ipod, DVD)? I do notice a change depending on the source music that is being listened too. I find the sound to be better when my ipod is plugged in vs. FM radio. CD's and DVD's always sound pretty good. XM sound isn't bad, but I tend to notice changes based on the particular radio station. Some seem to be better sounding (deep bass, clear and loud) then others. Just a few observations of mine to consider....
