I had my local garage rebuild my transmission after the TCM supposedly went bad(low pressure?) and did some damage. This was only 26,000 miles after a complete rebuild by the same shop a few years ago. I now have almost $4000 in this tranmission
Got it home and two days and maybe five miles later my Service Stabilitrak/Traction control light is on and it is driving different. I havent even had it on the highway yet!
Before I go back to the shop, which I'm not happy with in the first place, does anyone have any suggestions that I can check myself that would be related to the install? Something not put back on correctly like the filler tube or a electrical connector? I have an odb scanner and I will check for codes tonight after work. I have never had any issues with this until now. It now has 124,000 miles on the vehicle.
Thank you for any suggestions.
