Is that right? Are you still running those stiffer twin tube rear shocks? And with what drop kit? Maybe I need to replace my front struts and rear shocks then because after dropping my truck yesterday with the McGaughey 2/3 kit, its noticeably firmer and a tad bit bouncier, too. I'm sure some of the firmness can be attributed to the 22's, but they were on before the drop so I know I'm not just imagining things.

New Z71 shocks rear with shock brackets and Bell tech rear springs.

McGaughys coil relocation brackets front on Tenneco Z71 struts.

Thanks! I'm guessing some of the difference is probably your Bell Tech rear springs vs. my McGaughy springs. I've read somewhere on here that the Bell Tech springs provide a better ride. If I decided to try this set-up out, the Z71 shocks will bolt right onto my non-Z71 Suburban with my current McGaughy's shock extenders and same up front? Just swap my springs onto the Z71 front struts and reinstall? I don't know why I assumed the Z71 rear shocks were longer or not right for lowered trucks...

ETA: Didn't mean to thread jack, OP. Feel free to PM me the details goodinblack. Thanks, man.

I would say that new shocks help keep the quality of the ride. My truck has 107k and yes rims are next. I like the 6 spoke look but don't want them to stick out and I know the offset makes or breaks that. Any recommendations on the KMC LLC 6 or similar "looks"? I would love as much input as possible.
Thanks,
Matt

New shocks do make all the difference. I just put new rear shocks on and now I've got a factory like ride again!
