I am looking at buying a set of 08 wheels off a tahoe or truck like these. Anyone know if they will fit ok? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-18-OEM-CHEVROLET-Z71-WHEELS-TIRES-RIMS-CHEVY-TAHOE-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3a5ec31dc6QQitemZ250697948614QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories My 98 Tahoe is only a 5 lug truck. Its a 4 door 2wd with coil springs in the front. I was planning on doing a gear swap to 373's at some point and changing the axles or buying a similar year 4x4 rear with 6 lugs. My question comes on the front. Is there a 6 lug front rotor that will work with my stock brakes and spindles? or can I swap the spindles out to the 4x4 hub style that uses 6 lugs with out using half shafts and keep stock brakes and coil springs? or do you have to use torsion bars with those? thanks for the help.

Did some more searching and through another forum found a web site to an adapter company. I searched several times before but they never cam up. they have tons of wheel adapters. Anyone ever use there stuff? Here is a link to the one I think I need. Expensive little bastards but cheaper than axles and front end. the pic on this page isn't an actual but the dementions for the adapter seem right... how ever they do it. http://adaptitusa.com/5x500to6x550wheeladapter.aspx

You could have a shop weld in the NBS rims and then drill them back out to fit the 5x5 bolt pattern if you wanted.
