So i have a 08 yukon on 24s...i really want to drop the back but i have one concern. I am towing a boat all summer, when the boat is on the car, my rear end drops about 2 and a half inches. If i add the 2" drop that will bring me down to a total of 4 and a half inches or so, would that be an issue? and also would the drop be able to handle the weight?

You might want to put this in the suspension section.

I have the 2" drop in my Yukon but I have the auto leveling system too so I'm thinking I should be OK.

I don't trailer that often but when I do, it is usually a car. I'll let you know if I happen to use it to tow some time in the near future.

If the back end drops that much it sounds like you are carrying a lot of tongue weight (good for stability though). I would suggest a load distributing hitch. They work really well once you get them set up and probably don't cost any more than helper springs or air shocks. The biggest problem is what to do with all of the apparatus when you are not actually towing. I have a box trailer (race cars) so the stuff lives in there.
